Ryan is a junior mechanical engineering student at Texas A&M. As part of the Vertical Flight Design Team, he works as the lead engineer for the mechanical R&D team; Ryan's team is currently working on implementing variable-pitch propeller systems for future VFD eVTOLs.
Ryan is also involved in research, working in the HAND Engineering Research Center. His research focuses on the design and fabrication of testbeds to test electrostatic clutch performance and durability, as well as analytical tribology for artificial skin materials.
